Martin Specialist
Store Manager: Inoue
Born in Tokyo, raised in Osaka
After graduating from university, I once took a job at a food manufacturer, but
Driven by an unwavering desire to be involved in music, I chose the path of instrument sales.
The acoustic guitar is a wonderful instrument that not only enriches songs but also adds color to everyday life.
The songs we played back then, the times we sang together—these memories are etched firmly in our hearts.
Among them, Martin is a manufacturer that has delivered such moments to people around the world.
Its history is also very ancient, and both its structure and the brand's journey are a continuous series of discoveries.
While demonstrating an overwhelming presence as "the guitar as an instrument,"
Isn't it Martin's unique charm that he delights us in other ways as well?

The History and Charm of Martin
Within the limited framework of the acoustic guitar, many people have been captivated by Martin's sound and design, finding value in it and nurturing a culture around it.
That journey itself is passed down as a story of a special being.
Tracing Martin's Great History|From Founding to Modern Times:
Martin's journey began in 1833 when C.F. Martin I, who trained under master craftsman Stauffer, emigrated from Germany to America. In the 1840s, he established X-bracing and promoted the standardization of body sizes. In the 1910s, he created the Dreadnought, and in the 1930s, he introduced the 14-fret joint. These innovations became the foundation not only for Martin, but for many other brands, and are still passed down today as a tradition built up over many years.
Why does Martin continue to captivate people?:
The reason Martin continues to captivate people lies in its reliable craftsmanship and the traditions and evolution cultivated over its long history. This approach has been passed down through generations, inspiring not only the makers but also the owners to take a deep interest in the structure and specifications, to the point of wanting to study them. As symbolized by the Japanese folk scene of the 1970s, a unique culture has developed alongside the performers, and it continues to garner strong support in the contemporary music scene.
This is Martin! Essential Models and Their Features You Should Know:
