The History and Appeal of PRS

Paul Rees Smith is one of the brands that represent electric guitars alongside Fender and Gibson.

History|Tracing a Great History|From the Founding Era to the Present Day

Paul Reed Smith, who had been crafting instruments for professional artists since the 1970s, founded his company in 1985.
The Custom 24, one of PRS's flagship models, has been part of the lineup since 1985, and its distinctive archtop and beautiful wood materials, reminiscent of fine furniture, have been carried forward to the present day.

Charm|Why does PRS continue to captivate players?

Paul Reed Smith guitars have been used by artists across every era of music.
I believe one major factor is that it respects the opinions of the players and reflects them in the instrument.
The flagship Custom 24 model has also undergone numerous specification changes, and it features various variations and combinations of parts such as pickups.
In the modern era, the lineup has expanded to include entry-level and mid-range models like the CE and SE, broadening its appeal to a wider range of artists. One of Paul Reed Smith's key attractions is its ongoing evolution alongside artists.

Features|This is the essence of the PRS sound

Paul Reed Smith guitars possess distinct individual character while also matching a wide variety of sound-shaping approaches.
Of course, it comes equipped with diverse control systems like coil tap functionality, but it also delivers fast response and accurately conveys picking nuances.
I feel this is one of the true joys of Paul Reed Smith.

How to Choose|From Your First Guitar to Your Ultimate Dream Instrument|Choosing Your PRS

Paul Reed Smith offers an extremely wide range of models, but at the heart of it all is the Custom 24.
Of course, it can produce rock sounds, but depending on the controls, it can also deliver mellow sounds like jazz, making its versatility truly exceptional.
Additionally, the Custom 24 series includes more affordable models like the CE24 and SE Custom 24, making it a recommended choice not only for serious guitarists but also for those just starting out.
