Q. Can you repair instruments purchased at other stores or older vintage instruments?
A: Yes, of course!
At TCGAKKI, we handle a wide range of instruments, including those purchased elsewhere, those made overseas, vintage models, and even instruments of unknown origin.
Thanks to our repair staff—who have supported TCGAKKI (Kubokan) for over 35 years while working with various instruments—we can address each instrument individually, regardless of its condition or history. Please feel free to entrust us with any instrument you have.
Q. If the repair costs seem likely to be high, I’m unsure whether I should have it repaired or buy a new one.
A: While it brings us great joy to restore your cherished instrument, there are times when the repair costs exceed the instrument’s current market value.
In such cases, instead of repairing it, you can trade it in and “upgrade” to a new instrument from our used inventory.
At TCGAKKI, even if you purchased your instrument elsewhere, we’ll increase the trade-in value by 10% when you choose to upgrade.
