A2. Yes, we buy just the instrument itself. However, the appraisal value will increase if you have the original case, mouthpiece, or certificate of authenticity, so please include them if you have them.
Q3. Is it okay if the pistons are stuck and won’t move, or if the slides won’t extend?
A3. Yes, we can still buy it without any issues. Since we base our appraisal on the assumption that repairs will be needed, please do not attempt to fix it yourself—just bring it to us as-is.
Q4. I don’t know the manufacturer’s name or the exact model name (model number)…
A4. Please rest assured. Our expert staff will identify the model based on the engravings and the instrument’s shape. We can even provide a preliminary appraisal just by receiving a photo of the instrument, so please feel free to contact us.

A5. Giving the instrument a light wipe to clean it up creates a good impression. Also, gathering all the accessories and selling it together with other instruments or unwanted mutes, etc., can help increase the appraisal value.
