The role of “TC-TUNE” is to “create TCGAKKI products.”
Every instrument sold at TCGAKKI is repaired, adjusted, and inspected by TC-TUNE. We buy every instrument we receive from customers and completely disassemble it, thoroughly clean it, repair any damaged parts, and perform proactive adjustments to maximize the instrument’s potential.
TCGAKKI and Advance Guitars place great importance on delivering “playable instruments” to our customers, and TC-TUNE supports this philosophy behind the scenes.
It is precisely because TCGAKKI and Advance Guitars are specialty stores for used and vintage instruments that a dedicated repair team is indispensable.

Our specialized repair team ensures each instrument is restored to a condition befitting a product from a “specialty store for used and vintage instruments.”
TC-TUNE maximizes the potential of each instrument and focuses on improving playability. We want our customers to base their instrument selection solely on “appearance” and “sound.”

At TC-TUNE, we handle the repair and adjustment of approximately 2,000 instruments annually.
The vast majority of these are products from TCGAKKI and Advance Guitars.We handle instruments from a wide variety of manufacturers, both domestic and international, and the price range of the instruments we repair and set up extends from tens of thousands to tens of millions of yen.

・Responsible for final setup of TMG Guitar and MG Bass instruments prior to domestic shipment
TCGAKKI is responsible for the inspection and final setup of TMG Guitar and MG Bass instruments, for which TCGAKKI serves as the official distributor.
TCGAKKI deeply understands “the merits of Fender and Gibson from the era when XX was the distributor” and “the importance of inspecting and setting up overseas brands according to Japanese standards.” Based on this belief, we perform adjustments on even New instruments so that customers can feel confident using TMG Guitar and MG Bass products and consider them “ready to play” right out of the box.

・OEM production of select “hundred” products
“hundred” is a brand produced by TCGAKKI from a hands-on, practical perspective, offering products that are truly usable.
TC-TUNE is responsible for manufacturing some of these products.
Leveraging the technical expertise cultivated through the repair of used and vintage instruments, we craft a small number of handmade products of assured quality.

・Co-production of the “ReFine Series”
The “ReFine Series,” jointly produced by TCGAKKI and TC-TUNE, redefines instruments from the era known as “Japan Vintage” under the concept of making them “suitable for modern music.”
This series was born from the fusion of TCGAKKI’s extensive experience handling Japan Vintage instruments and TC-TUNE’s know-how in repairing and adjusting them to playable condition.We are confident that we have succeeded in proposing new value.
