Barrel's gold-painted logo has discoloration. Otherwise, minor scratches on keys and scattered polishing marks. No plating damage or body repair history. Overhauled with body cleaning, all pads replaced (current genuine Pisoni Pads ), and cork replacement.

The YCL-853II SE is a long-selling model that became the origin of the SE series, one of the two pillars ("CS" and "SE") supporting Yamaha's current clarinets.
