[ Features]
The YCL-853II SE is a long-selling model that became the origin of the SE series, one of the two pillars ("CS" and "SE") supporting Yamaha's current clarinets. Its gently expanding bore design produces a sound that spreads softly around the player rather than being forcefully projected forward. It exhibits minimal intonation quirks across the entire range, delivering a consistent, even tone throughout all registers.
Its stable intonation balance, excellent blend that naturally integrates within a section, and a tone possessing both calmness and warmth. These qualities have made it a long-standing staple in Japanese wind ensembles, garnering high support for many years.
Although this is a used instrument, it has no history of cracks repaired on the body and no significant wear on the key plating. Furthermore, all pads have been replaced with current genuine Pisoni pads, and it has undergone a full overhaul including cork replacement.
"For those who want a reliable, long-lasting version of a classic model"
