You can adjust input gain with the compressor, and the smart gate (which gradually engages relative to output, so it won't abruptly cut off mid-note when sustaining) lets you say goodbye to noise. There are two types each of distortion and clean, and you can switch between any two of them using the footswitch. It's an all-rounder, from demonic high-gain to clear blue sky clean sounds.Especially Clean 2—it's electric but sounds like Electric Acoustic, and it feels amazing. You can control each channel's volume, bypass, and even the rhythm volume (slightly reduces output) with the footswitch. With this, you've got a preamp that can handle anything! Compared to the XPR, its lower noise is another strong point. The ROCKMAN's case is made of inherently low-strength plastic material, and there are two cracks near the mounting screws.
