Gibson / 1951 J-50
The J-50 joined the J-45 lineup in 1942 as a natural-finish version.
The J-45 remains ever-popular, but the J-50 also gained popularity thanks to its use by artists like Bob Dylan and James Taylor.
While sharing the same specifications as the J-45, it offers a different kind of appeal, such as the finer grain of the spruce used for the top wood and the differences between the sides and back.

The fretboard is made of rosewood and, like the J-45, has dot position markers.

The headstock features a gold Gibson modern logo.
The tuning machines are KLUSON flat plates.
