🔽~Always by the side of musicians~ The history of the "good partner" J-50

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gibson / 1951 J-50
The J-50 joined the J-45 lineup in 1942 as a natural-finish version.
The J-45 remains ever-popular, but the J-50 also gained popularity thanks to its use by artists like Bob Dylan and James Taylor.
While sharing the same specifications as the J-45, it offers a different kind of appeal, such as the finer grain of the spruce used for the top wood and the differences between the sides and back.
- Naturally colored round shoulder bag
The 16-inch round-shoulder body, the same as the J-45, is finished in a natural color.
Unlike the sunburst color, it has a more luxurious look.

The pickguard is a small pickguard with a strong reddish tint.RecruitThat is a characteristic of 1951.

The sides and back are made of mahogany and finished in a calm brown color to match the natural wood tones.

The fretboard is made of rosewood and, like the J-45, has dot position markers.

The neck is made of mahogany and has a neck shape with a comfortable thickness.

A characteristic feature of this period is the long saddle set on the rosewood upper belly bridge.

The headstock features a gold Gibson modern logo.

The tuning machines are KLUSON flat plates.

The round shoulder and natural color give it a unique and special feel, and this J-50 with its small pickguard and long saddle is quite rare on the market.
Furthermore, every single part remains completely original, making this a guitar in the best possible condition.
