A masterpiece crafted with passion by Mr. Kikuchi, who studied under Sadowsky founder Roger Sadowsky and is recognized as an official Sadowsky craftsman in Japan.
This is the signature model of bassist Will Lee, who has supported numerous artists in countless live performances and recordings since the 1970s.
It features a chambered ash body and a maple fingerboard. Controls include volume, pickup balancer, tone, bass/treble (stacked knob), and a mid-boost switch; pulling the tone knob switches the circuit to passive mode. The tone control is effective in both active and passive modes.
The nut width is approximately 37mm—about 1mm narrower than a standard JB—a design detail reflecting Will Lee’s personal commitment to playability.
Featuring a mid-boost and a built-in D-Tuner, the Will Lee Model is not only a signature model but has also become one of Sadowsky’s flagship models. The lightweight construction achieved through chambered body design, combined with a warm tone despite its straight profile, creates a sound unique to this model.
