This is a modified version of the USA-made V847—a reissue of the VOX wah pedal originally released in the 1960s—featuring a wide-ranging, crisp wah sound!

Compared to the current Cry-Baby models with their orthodox effects, this pedal offers dynamic performance with significant tonal changes. It’s perfect for “chaka-poko”-style cutting riffs. This model is no longer in production, and many players are choosing this version over the current Chinese-made models because of its superior sound. Incidentally, this particular unit has been modified with a replaced footswitch for true bypass, and an additional LED has been installed so you can see the ON/OFF status at a glance. The inductor—the heart of the sound—has also been replaced with a FASEL Red. The bushing positions have been carefully adjusted to make it easier to engage and disengage the effect with a single press.

*Features: FASEL Red inductor, replaced footswitch (true bypass), added LED, repositioned and replenished rubber bushings; logo plate is missing.

*This unit operates on a 9V battery only.
