[Condition] Restored by Rob Stewart Brass, an American brass instrument workshop . Piston buttons, stems, and valve guides replaced with later-period parts (Buck original). Reverse-style inner tube installed on 1st slide, finger hook added (Yamaha parts). Entire instrument refinished. Interior cleaned, soft parts replaced. Fully inspected.
[ Features] The " New York 6," known as the early flagship model of New York Bach. This instrument was manufactured in 1947 at the Bronx factory and restored by Rob Stewart Brass, a world-renowned workshop specializing in antique instrument restoration and brass instrument tuning.The workshop has carefully restored the instrument to its original condition without compromising its original character, resulting in a high-quality finish that is characteristic of the workshop. Adjustments have been made from the player's perspective, such as the installation of a hook using a reverse-style first slide and the updating of key parts around the pistons, which are the heart of the instrument. This instrument allows you to enjoy the rich sound characteristic of the New York period, with its many overtones. It is a vintage horn that can be enjoyed not only by looking at it, but also by playing it.
