Condition]
There is lacquer peeling in various places on the body and bell. There are scattered marks where dents have been repaired on the slide tips, the sides of the bell, and the bell flare. Piston sealing and clearances between the tubes are in good condition and do not interfere with normal playing.The instrument has been internally cleaned, soft parts replaced (*), and thoroughly inspected and serviced.
*For the piston inner felt, we use pressed felt specially ordered by our shop for Bach instruments to ensure stable alignment and durability. The thickness of the felt is fine-tuned to fit each individual instrument.

Furthermore, this instrument was manufactured in 1977. It is a so-called “semi-early Elkheart” period piece, featuring the “CORPORATION” engraving on the bell flare. This is a rare example finished in lacquer, allowing you to experience the 1970s model—which has been gaining increasing recognition overseas in recent years—in its original form. You can simultaneously experience the charm of a different era—distinct from the current 229/25H—and the quintessential sound of an orchestral C-tubas.
