The Victoria 6-string with ARS pickups!
"Atlansia" is the brand founded by Nobuaki Hayashi, the creator of AriaProII's best-selling model, the "PE-1500." A purely Japanese brand, Atlansia is known for its highly original designs—a hallmark of the brand—and its logical engineering that incorporates unique, one-of-a-kind parts in every instrument, resulting in truly one-of-a-kind instruments. For over 40 years, the brand has consistently pushed the boundaries of innovation, and its ideas and techniques continue to captivate players and builders worldwide.
Released in 1985, the Victoria features an acoustic design with F-holes and comes in various configurations, including models with piezo pickups and humbucker pickups.
This 1989 model is equipped with 12 of Atlansia’s original ARS pickups. It features a rare passive configuration with volume, tone, and pickup balance controls.
While it doesn’t feature Atlansia’s signature tapered neck, it offers a substantial grip, and among 6-string models, it boasts a fingerboard radius and a thick neck.
Overall, the sound is tight, yet it has a warm, well-defined character with a hint of hollow resonance. These seemingly contradictory characteristics coexist, resulting in a sound that is actually very easy to work with!
