Tacoma Guitars was founded in Washington State, USA, in 1991. Highly acclaimed for its practical, innovative designs, production sadly ceased in 2008. Now with fewer instruments in circulation, it remains a brand with enduring popularity.
This instrument is part of the Thunderchief series, featuring the signature Tacoma Paisley soundhole. The unique soundhole contributes not only to its design but also to its playability, giving it a distinct presence that sets it apart from conventional Bass. The wood construction features a spruce top with mahogany sides and back, a mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard. The large body produces rich resonance, warm mid-to-low frequencies, and the natural attack characteristic of acoustic guitars.
The neck employs a bolt-on joint. This allows smooth access to the high frets, achieving a high level of playability not found in typical acoustic Bass. The characteristics of the soundhole position also make slap playing easier. Rather than being a substitute for a wood Bass, this model is recommended for players who want to actively use it as an "acoustic bass"!

Electric guitar / electricBass/Effector/ Amplifier (Adjustment warranty: up to 5 years) If your product malfunctions or stops producing sound after purchase, we will provide free repairs. Warranty periods vary depending on the product.
Acoustic guitar (with extended warranty: up to 6 months) We will provide free support for any defects that occur during normal use for one or six months after purchase.
