“Adamas” is the answer we arrived at by sparing no effort in applying cutting-edge technology to address this question.
The pursuit of durability that transcends the physical limits of natural wood, combined with overwhelming acoustic characteristics, resulted in an innovative top structure consisting of ultra-thin carbon graphite and birch wood precisely layered together.
By fusing this with the company’s proprietary fan bracing and a Rilacord body designed based on acoustical dynamics, Ovation established an entirely new acoustic world that fundamentally overturns the concept of traditional wooden acoustic guitars.
This instrument is the Super Adamas 1687-2, one of the very first models produced in 1979. The
crimson body top is studded with shimmering gold glitter, exuding an overwhelming presence that sets it apart from other guitars at first glance.
While the Adamas is strongly associated with technological innovation, the headstock carvings and the epaulets featuring acanthus leaf motifs evoke a sense of traditional beauty.
The rich, deep bass produced by the deep-bodied Lyra-code body surges forward with vibrations that seem to pierce the air, while the crystal-clear treble fills the space with precise definition.
