A rare StingRay with a Status graphite neck!
The legendary Leo Fender at FenderBass,jazzBassDeveloped by MUSIC MAN, the StingRay, released in 1976 under a new brand, continues to be loved by various artists to this day.BassThis is a classic and representative model of guitars.
This instrument features a component design where the neck and body are separate parts.
The neck is a graphite neck made by Status Graphite. This is a rare neck used in a limited edition model, of which only 100 were produced worldwide to commemorate the 100th anniversary of NAMM, the world's largest musical instrument show. The watch head is inlaid with a "100th NAMM" medal, and its distinctive pattern, created by woven carbon fiber, is another notable feature.
The body is a 2010 Classic StingRay 2EQ, with volume/treble/BassControl of. The bridge, which has a serial number engraved on it, is from a Classic StingRay 2EQ, and the original bridge from the NAMM 100TH ANNIVERSARY LTD EDITION is not included. The pickguard appears to be the same as the neck, from the NAMM 100th Anniversary model.
The sound, as you'd expect from a graphite neck, is clear and clean, with all unnecessary elements stripped away. The nuances of string touch are very easily reproduced, and the response speed is outstanding.
There are paint cracks on the side of the neck, but this does not affect its structural integrity. The frets have approximately 30-40% remaining, but we have leveled them once at our shop, and there are no noticeable dents or other damage.
A rare neck that is rarely seen on the market. Even as a so-called "two-in-one" item, this is a rare find that's not easy to come by.
*Both the neck and electronics have been serviced by our repair technician and are in good condition. *The string height is set to approximately 1.6mm at the 12th fret. *Parts have been disassembled and cleaned.
