Explanation
The depth of tradition and the precision of modern design.
Psychederhythm is a Japanese custom guitar and Bass brand with a shop and workshop in Ebisu, Tokyo. It enjoys great popularity thanks to its outstanding practicality—honed on professional stages—and its unique, sophisticated design sensibility.
This model is the Standard-J, featuring a classic alder body paired with a rosewood fingerboard. It is a passive JB-type instrument. The back of the neck features a matte finish with a smooth, silky texture. It is equipped with a 2-way bridge that allows for both through-body and under-body string routing. You can freely customize the setup to match your preferences, desired string tension, and response.
While rooted in traditional jazz bass tones, the sound has been refined to suit the modern music scene. It features a strong presence that cuts through an ensemble, excellent articulation, and a well-balanced low-to-high-end response—characterized by a rich, clear, and focused tone.
This is a performance-oriented bass that combines traditional character with a modern, tight, and dense sound!
