Here’s the latest model from “Sound Dog,” a pedal brand based in Yokosuka! The “EVO” series.

This overdrive pedal, known for its natural yet powerful sound, has evolved even further!

Controls include LEVEL, GAIN, and TONE. A COLOR control has been added to the previous model.It incorporates an amplification circuit similar to that found in the Marshall The Guv'nor and Suhr Riot, along with a tone circuit commonly used in TS-style pedals. The amplification rate is adjusted to prevent the sound from becoming overly distorted, resulting in an overdrive pedal that delivers a more delicate sound with single-coil pickups and a powerful sound with humbuckers. The controls are also very simple, so you can enjoy authentic sounds without any confusion.It works great with both single-coil and humbucker pickups—even for hard rock! It delivers that classic, good-old-fashioned hard rock sound. We highly recommend this model for beginners, too!
