[Features & Appeal]
The Serie III: the pinnacle of the modern sound created by Selmer Paris.
This instrument is a Jubilee model from 2010 or later.
It features quick response, a dense sound image, and excellent intonation balance. Its consistency across the entire range represents a distinct direction established as a departure from the Serie II.
Its tight, well-defined sound won’t get lost even in modern ensembles such as pop or fusion.
――And the instrument’s most distinctive feature lies in its appearance.
Originally finished with clear lacquer, the lacquer on the entire tube body has deteriorated due to the influence of the case lining material. As a result, it has transformed into a dark texture with a subdued luster. The key point is that this is not partial deterioration, but rather a uniform change across the entire surface.
It possesses a subdued presence, as if it were an intentionally crafted antique finish.
The sound retains the clarity inherent to the Serie III while adding a slightly subdued, darker nuance. It possesses substantial body and density, delivering high performance across all genres.
It has been fully overhauled and is in perfect playing condition.
If you’re drawn to this unique character, this is a one-of-a-kind instrument.
