Overview
Silky B♭Cornet. Shepherd Crook's classic long-selling short bell model XA1. 460'' (11.68mm) ML bore. 127mm copper bell. Silver plated finish, with Bach single hard case, made in 2006. List price: 594,000 yen

Condition
There is a shallow dent around the braze on the front side of the bell out of the two braces that connect the side of the bell to the valve casing (it is difficult to fix without removing the bell and the braze). (This is in a location where it is difficult to correct without removing the bell and braze. The sinking is minor and does not affect the sound or balance, so it is left as is.) Otherwise, there are only a few light scuff marks scattered throughout. It remains in beautiful condition. The pipe has been cleaned, reconditioned in various areas, and serviced.

Features
This silky cornet is a British style model, but has a different character from the original Besson. Attractive for its grainy pronunciation and rich overtone tone with high reach. Recommended for solo performance and orchestral cornet.
