The SB (Super Bass) series is Aria Pro II’s flagship bass line. With its functional beauty and original design, the SB series remains a popular model today as a classic Japanese vintage instrument.
This instrument is a fretless version of the 1982 SB-R80. It features two double-coil pickups, two volume controls, two tone controls, and a rotary pickup selector. It also includes a Dual Sound Switch that allows you to toggle between series and parallel configurations for each pickup. Although it’s a passive bass, it offers an incredibly versatile range of sound-shaping possibilities.
It features the smooth, extended sustain characteristic of a through-neck design, along with a sound that is both natural and organic yet tight and well-defined. With the high playability in the upper positions typical of an SB model and its organic sound, this guitar is sure to spark new inspiration in players.
*Both the neck and electronics have been serviced by our in-house technician and are in good condition. *String action is set to approximately 1.5 mm at the 12th fret. *Parts have been disassembled and cleaned.
