[Features]“A unique horn designed by cornet and trumpet maker Bobby DeNicola (Robert 'Bobby' M. DeNicola, 1929-2006), blending elements of the cornet and trumpet. PUJÉ(Pujé)" is a completely custom-made, handmade piece reproduced by brass instrument maker Brent Peters. The PUJÉ SHORTY is named after the original PUJÉ,Basswith a length that is one size shorter as the name suggests. The main tuning slide is positioned where the blowing tube curves downward, similar to a cornet. The bell features a Shepard's crook shape with a small, tightly coiled tube at the bell's base. The finger hook, which appears to be attached to the first slide, is actually mounted on the bell's base tube, allowing pitch correction for all fingerings like a pitch finder. The character is similar to an American-style long-bell cornet, with a warm, rich tone. When paired with a deep mouthpiece, it delivers exceptional performance for solo playing or combo performances. With a shallow mouthpiece, it retains its warm tone while producing a powerful, full-bodied sound.
