This model was created in collaboration with Shimamura Gakki.
It belongs to Takamine’s 700 Series and features the original Auditorium body.
The sound of this body is warm, with excellent volume balance across all strings.
It features a solid spruce top and maple laminate sides and back.
Its bright, crisp sound is captivating, and it excels at chord strumming with a quick attack.
The cherry sunburst finish is applied not only to the top but also to the back, highlighting the maple grain and creating a beautiful rear view.
With gold tuners, original diamond-shaped position marks, and a matte finish, the exterior exudes a sense of luxury.
The most distinctive feature of the TDP is its built-in tube preamp, the “CTP-3.”
This preamp is characterized by the deep, rich sound unique to vacuum tubes, faithfully reproducing the natural resonance of an acoustic guitar.
Furthermore, the tube drive level is infinitely adjustable, and it even features a built-in high-performance equalizer that allows you to set specific frequencies in the midrange, enabling a diverse range of sound-shaping options unlike anything before.
