"A Perfect Companion for Fuzz"—this masterpiece of a pedal was developed with the specific goal of being placed in the signal chain after a fuzz pedal!

You love the sound of your fuzz, but in a band setting, it just doesn’t cut through. The volume is too low. Using a booster changes the fuzz’s original character. And so on. This model was created to solve these very problems.

As you can probably tell from the name, the developer encountered a certain amplifier and was deeply impressed by its sound—which, while wild and aggressive, could also express a glass-like delicacy depending on the picking technique. This served as the inspiration for its development.

It pairs exceptionally well with the brand’s own SMUG FACE Ge, allowing it to fully express the gritty texture of the fuzz. Of course, it also works great with fuzz pedals like the TONE BENDER and Octavia.

Because it produces such high-quality distortion, it can also be used on its own as a distortion pedal! Sano, the staff member in charge of Effector at our store, is a fan of 1960s-1970s hard rock, so he actually recommends this one more. It’s a pedal we’d love for a wide range of musicians to try out. 

The center mini-switch controls the low-cut (select "Center" when using it with a fuzz pedal), and the mini-switch on the upper right lets you switch between GAIN levels (Crunch/Normal/High Gain).
