The Super Adamas featured a carbon-graphite top with a stunning design and color scheme, paired with a fiberglass-reinforced plastic back. It was designed to perform at its best regardless of humidity or temperature, captivating many artists with its looks and its ability to envelop the entire body in sound despite its lightweight design.

The carbon graphite top is an essential feature of the Adamas.
The uniform vertical lines are studded with sparkling glitter.
It gives the impression of stars scattered across a galaxy.
The binding features intricate engraving.

The soundhole is also an essential feature of the Adamas.
The soundhole, adorned with a decorative motif known as an “epaulette” (leaf-shaped ornament), is crafted from woods such as teak, rosewood, and maple.

The back of the body is made of Lyracord, a fiberglass-reinforced plastic.
It features a brown-based color scheme.
The deep body contour may be the secret behind Adamas’s bold sound.

The fingerboard is made of walnut and features wooden inlays shaped like three diamonds.

The neck is made of mahogany, and its distinctive Adamas V-shape fits naturally in the hand.
The construction features mahogany sandwiching layers of maple and walnut.

The bridge features a carved nut, but unlike the Super Adamas, the intricate carvings have been omitted in favor of a simpler design.
Despite its simplicity, the Adamas’s captivating tone remains undiminished.

The headstock does not feature the elaborate carvings of the Super Adamas; instead, it features a headstock design similar to Ovation’s “Secret Art” style, with the Adamas logo added.
By keeping decoration costs down, the company has made a conscious effort to make the Adamas accessible to a wider audience without compromising sound quality.

Gold Rotomatic tuning pegs are used.
These stable pegs ensure consistent tuning across a wide range of playing styles.

The pickups are equipped with an FET preamp.
Controls—including BRIGHT/DEEP and VOLUME—are accessible via wooden knobs on the side of the body.
This pickup system maximizes the Adamas’s signature sound—powerful yet full-bodied—which is a hallmark of Ovation.

- There are no issues such as muffled sound or buzzing; it is in good playing condition.
