*Please note that this is a used/vintage item, and the information provided is based on our inspection.
Please be aware of this in advance.
- The appearance is truly striking, reminiscent of a work of art. While there are crack repairs and numerous scratches and dents, considering this is a 120-year-old instrument, it is in remarkably good condition.
- There is a repaired crack on the body top, centered below the bridge.
- There is a crack directly above the center of the soundhole, but since bracing is in place, there are no structural issues.
- There are chips visible between the bridge pins (strings 4, 5, and 6), but please rest assured that this does not affect tuning or structural integrity.
- There is some softening of the lacquer on the lower right side of the body.
- There are signs that the neck has been reset at the heel.
[Playing Condition]
- There is no muffled sound or buzzing, and the instrument plays well.
- String height at the 12th fret: 4.3 mm on the 6th string side, 4.1 mm on the 1st string side
- Saddle height: approx. 0.5mm–1.0mm
