The AD9 delivers a clear delay sound and a wide dynamic range, producing particularly rich, full-bodied bass and improved sound clarity!

Equipped with four of the brand’s original MC4107D BBD chips, it offers a maximum delay time of 450 msec. It reduces aliasing noise and clock noise—common issues with analog delays—to deliver a clear delay sound and a wide dynamic range. In particular, it produces deep, punchy bass and offers improved sound clarity. The tape echo multi-head simulation function allows you to switch between single-head and dual-head modes.In dual-head mode, a midstream signal—tapped from midway through the BBD delay circuit—is added to the standard delay signal, reproducing the unique delay effect produced by the multiple heads of a tape echo machine. Additionally, the unit features true bypass switching via a 4PDT mechanical switch and ensures stable operation even when battery-powered, thanks to an internal DC/DC converter.
