The Warwick Custom Shop Masterbuilt series is crafted in Germany using carefully selected woods, representing the brand’s top-tier lineup. This 2022 model is the 6-string version of the Thumb Bass, a model that continues to be a bestseller and is considered the face of Warwick. The ergonomically sculpted body design and uniquely contoured neck shape fit naturally to the body, supporting your performance with exceptional playability.
The body is made of bubinga, and the neck is made of wenge. The fingerboard is ebony. It is equipped with Warwick’s original MEC soapbar-style pickups. Controls include volume, pickup balancer, midrange, and treble.
Characterized by its use of hardwoods and a pickup positioned closer to the bridge, this model delivers a sound that combines richness with sharp clarity. With Warwick’s signature clear tone, it faithfully reproduces every nuance of your picking. The unique, hard-hitting midrange sound is a characteristic that only this instrument can produce!
