The long-awaited re-production began in 1968, and 1973 was a period several years after that re-production, when the specifications had stabilized but still retained a strong vintage feel.

- Back strip
The No. 40 model is particularly appealing for its colorful embellishments in the center of the body bag.
While not visible to the listener, this backstrip, along with the abalone inlay that only the owner can appreciate, is another elegant decorative element.

- There are scratches around the soundhole, weather checking, and small dents, but these, combined with the amber-colored top, give it an even more vintage feel.
- The pickguard has been replaced.
- There is a crack that has been repaired with adhesive on the right side of the pickguard (near the waist).
- There is a crack that has been repaired with adhesive on the lower right of the soundhole (along the pickguard).
- The endpin hole has been enlarged.
[Playing condition]
-String height at the 12th fret: 2.4mm on the 6th string side, 2.0mm on the 1st string side
- Saddle protrusion amount: Approximately 1.0mm to 1.5mm
- There are no muffled or buzzing sounds, and the playing condition is good.
