The top is crafted from Sitka spruce, while the sides and back feature rosewood. Rosewood is a premium wood prized for its beautiful grain and unique harmonic resonance. Due to regulations, it is now difficult to obtain, making 1960s Martin D-28s particularly rare and valuable.
The neck is made of mahogany, while the fingerboard and bridge are crafted from ebony, representing the pinnacle of quality in every aspect of wood selection and craftsmanship.
A superb tone honed over more than 50 years. Each note has excellent attack and rich sustain, with a sensitivity that responds instantly to the player’s touch.
