Marcus Bona, a Brazilian manufacturer, designed this case with a focus on lightweight, convenient, and safe transport. As a high-end brand case, it is beloved by many musicians, from professionals to amateurs. The interior of the nylon fabric is primarily made of fiber material, making it lightweight yet durable. Thanks to its unique cushioning arrangement and structure, this case is compact yet provides a sense of security when storing your instrument.
While the classic, elongated case style tends to be a matter of personal preference due to its height, this case is packed with unique features. The large front pocket has generous gussets, making it easy to store not only sheet music but also thicker items. Additionally, the Velcro strip at the top front allows you to attach a music stand or other stand.
The interior design is also exceptionally well-crafted. In cases where the main body and slide overlap when stored—a design you sometimes see—there’s a risk that “the cushioning wears out and the slide falls out.” It’s heartbreaking to see deep scratches and dents on the bell, but with this case, you needn’t worry, as the slide is securely held in place by the Velcro. Another major advantage is that you can store the instrument with the mute still inserted into the bell tip. We highly recommend this case for anyone who wants to safely transport a lot of gear all at once.
