With a bell size that far exceeds that of a standard trumpet, it produces a wide, resonant sound that fills the space rather than projecting sharply toward a single point. The bell features a copper stem and a phosphor bronze flare. The deep, warm tone provided by the copper is complemented by the richness and brilliant overtones unique to phosphor bronze, allowing for a wide range of expression—from soft, creamy pianissimo to an overwhelming presence during forte passages.Furthermore, the machined bronze receiver and the 1.1-millimeter-thick machined yellow brass mouthpipe ensure a solid tonal core and stability despite the large bell.
