Explanation
Larrivee / 1979 L-10 Deluxe “Eagle”
- A symbol of tone and spirit refined by time -
A high-end model from the golden age, crafted with passion and meticulous attention to detail by Jean Larrivee.
The top features beautiful German spruce, while the sides and back are made from carefully selected Indian rosewood.
Over 45 years of aging have allowed the wood to dry and mature, resulting in rich, deep mid-to-low tones and crystal-clear highs. When you strum a chord, the sound fills the room; when you pluck a single note, a deep resonance spreads, as if time itself has stopped.
The exceptional craftsmanship, worthy of the “Deluxe” name, is another major appeal of this guitar.
The headstock features a meticulously inlaid, dynamic eagle motif that embodies symbolic messages of freedom, pride, and flight. Furthermore, the fingerboard is adorned with intricate custom inlays that quietly draw the eye while playing. These decorative elements go beyond mere aesthetics; they possess a depth that seems to reflect the very spirit of the player.
The neck is crafted from Honduran mahogany, and the fingerboard from ebony. Its smooth feel and robust construction ensure it will withstand years of playing, achieving a high level of balance between practicality as a vintage instrument and artistic value.
