a long-established company based in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture, steadfastly preserves traditional Japanese woodworking techniques. Today, we’re introducing a custom version of the “YF-00018,” crafted based on the classic Triple-O (000) style.
The greatest appeal of this instrument lies in its luxurious custom specifications, designed to bring out the player’s subtle expressiveness. By adopting a 44mm-wide nut—wider than the
standard model—an exquisite amount of space has been created between the strings.
This slight increase in width prevents finger interference when playing complex tension chords and ensures clear separation between each individual note.
The moment your fingertips touch the strings, you’ll be surprised by how unnecessary tension melts away, allowing the precise tone you envisioned to emerge smoothly.
Additionally, the headstock is equipped
with GOTOH open-gear tuning pegs that radiate a beautiful, classic luster. Not only do they exude a traditional vintage feel, but their high precision ensures smooth tuning, and the headstock’s well-balanced mass supports rich sustain.
For the wood that forms the core of the tone, this guitar features a luxurious all-solid-wood construction, with a carefully selected solid spruce top and high-quality solid mahogany sides and back.
The crystal-clear attack characteristic of spruce harmonizes beautifully with the warm, lively response inherent to mahogany. Combined with the rich resonance produced by the wide nut, this creates a full-bodied, deep tone that is far more rich and resonant than one would expect from such a compact body.
