Up for sale is a Duncan SJB-3-equipped JB62 modification!
Fender Japan, which debuted in 1982. Due to a change in distributor, the Fender Japan name disappeared in 2015.
After that, Fender itself continued to produce high-quality instruments as the MIJ (Made In Japan) series, but Fender Japan has earned a strong reputation as Japanese vintage and remains popular both in Japan and overseas.
This instrument is a JB62 from the first half of the 2000s.
The pickups, bridge, pegs, and assembly have been replaced.
The pickup is equipped with a Seymour Duncan SJB-3. It looks almost unchanged, and I think every part can be considered upgraded.
It delivers a thick, solid low end while retaining punch.
From the 1st string to the 4th string, the sound does not thin out in any position, and it has a powerful, driving sound.
The rare surf green color is charming, and this is a fully battle-ready instrument!
