Fender Japan 1989 JB62-60

Fender Japan JB62, a classic staple!

Fender Japan, which launched in 1982, ceased to exist under the name Fender Japan in 2015 due to a change in distributor.
After that, the parent company Fender continued to manufacture high-quality instruments in Japan as the MIJ (Made In Japan) series, but Fender Japan has earned a strong reputation as Japanese vintage and remains popular both in Japan and overseas.

This model recreates the 1962 Jazz Bass Bass. It has a slab-applied rosewood fingerboard and a 2-volume, 1-tone, 3-knob control layout.

It has a sticky, Jazz Bass-like midrange, and can handle all kinds of genres with plenty of authority.
Although it has a basswood body, it has relatively strong low frequencies and a crisp attack, making it an easy-to-play instrument that speaks without muddiness!
