Holton French horn, Barry Tuckwell model. Large throat detachable bronze bell. (Not the one-touch detachable bayonet type used in the earliest productions, but the normal screw bell type.) No. 4 rotary F/B♭Rotary F/B (No. 4) is a fixed type. Nickel silver body. Two detachable mouthpipes (chamber music type)♯1, Orchestral type♯No. 4). Hard case included.

Manufactured around 1991. Used for less than 6 years in total. Minor dents and scratches have been corrected. Other scratches and partial paint loss due to normal use. All rotaries have been disassembled and cleaned, and all strings and corks have been replaced. All tubes have been adjusted.
The 104 model is a signature model developed by the Holton Company in the 1980s in collaboration with master player Barry Tuckwell. It took nearly 5 years from the prototype testing to the release of this model, so its high level of perfection is exceptional.
The rotary action is precise and light. The response is extremely agile.♯The compact feel of the 1 pipe and the soft, textured sound of the pipes, combined with the solistic characteristics that allow the sound to stand up without being buried in the ensemble, are the ideals that Mr. Tuckwell was aiming for.♯The Tuckwell 4 gives a symphonic sound and a neutral tone that is highly versatile in a good sense of the word.
