- The body top is over 100 years old, but when comparing the aging of the sides/back, the surface isNewThe neat and tidy appearance suggests that the underside has been finished.
Originally, a pickguard was installed, but due to aging, the pickguard and bridge had peeled off, and this was done to restore it to its original condition, as evidenced by photographs and other documentation.
- There is a repaired crack on the right side of the body, near the waist (along the binding).
- There are four repaired areas on the upper part of the end pin at the end of the body (closer to the top), which appear to be filled-in holes.
- The body top has small dents, mainly around the bridge.
- The sides and back show paint damage (peeling, lacquer softening), scratches, and dents.
Additionally, an over-lacquering finish has been applied.
- Evidence of a neck reset can be seen on the neck heel.
- While the buttons on the tuning pegs are made of mother-of-pearl, the button on the second string has been replaced with one made of a different material.
- The slotted screw that secures the tuning peg button for the 4th string is missing.
However, it is securely fixed and will not come off even when tuning, so please rest assured (however, please be careful as it will come off if you pull it hard).
- The saddle has been replaced.

- There are no muffled or buzzing sounds, and the playing condition is excellent.
