The legendary brand "WAY HUGE," produced for only a few years between 1990 and 2000. This is the original "GREEN RHINO"!!
This is an original pedal by George Tripps, who was involved in the development of the LINE6 DL4 and is currently demonstrating his outstanding skills at DUNLOP. At the time, it was imported into Japan through official channels. The lineup includes many models that are not just copies of vintage items, but are full of free and creative ideas! Perhaps because it was too ahead of its time, the brand disappeared before its name became widely known. Its wonderful sound became legendary among top musicians in LA and elsewhere. The design changed over time, from the early green body/white logo, to the mid-period green body/black logo, to the later silver-green body/green logo. Various specifications can also be seen in the internal circuit boards and components depending on the period and individual unit. The op-amps used have been confirmed to include the TLE2072CP, TL072CP, JRC4558D, and LF353N.Unfortunately, the op-amp markings on this unit are faint and unreadable, but even compared to the 1980s TS10 (JRC4558D glossy), the sound color and richness are hard to distinguish, and the GREEN RHINO seems to have achieved an exquisite balance of increased resolution, fatness, and good sound clarity. This is serial #385.
