Gibson / 2004 J-45
Spruce is used for the top, and it has a vintage sunburst finish.
We can infer that the rosette was not made with a single ring, but was made with the intention of recreating a mid-1950s example.
While many models recreate a large pickguard, this one features a small pickguard.
Speaking of the original example, around 1955 the small pickguard was changed to a large pickguard.
The sides and back are made of mahogany and finished in dark walnut color.
The fingerboard is made of rosewood, and the position marks have been dot inlaid.
The neck is made of mahogany.
The slim taper neck is also quite comfortable to hold, making it a neck that feels good even for modern music.
The bridge is made of rosewood, and a short saddle is installed.
The bridge pins have been replaced with ebony pins.
The dots on the bridge have been inlaid with white mother-of-pearl.
The headstock features a Gibson modern logo applied with silkscreen, and the bell-shaped truss rod cover is a one-piece version.
The tuning machines are fitted with independent KLUSON pegs.
The three treble-side pegs tend to become tight as the years go by because tightening the pegs brings them closer to the G string.
However, please rest assured that this does not affect tuning stability.
[Staff comment: Hoshino]

Unlike the J-45 Standard, the J-45, which recreates a look close to vintage specifications, is very popular.
If you are looking for a J-45 in the 300,000 yen range, don’t miss this opportunity!
