The Dove in Flight is a highly artistic instrument, born under the supervision of Ren Ferguson, then the master luthier of the time.
- Inlay work that has reached the realm of art
In Bass of the Dove’s decoration, the headstock features an inlay depicting a “dove in flight,” and three doves with outstretched wings shine in the inlay as if they are freely flapping their wings.
The fingerboard is adorned with double-parallelogram inlays, and the bridge is decorated with dove-themed inlay.

Nearly 30 years after its 1996-97 production, the carefully selected Sitka spruce and high-quality flame maple have dried thoroughly, and the maple’s characteristic crisp, clear sound blends with a gentle warmth and rich sustain that guitars like New can never produce, resulting in an exceptional stroke sound.

Please note this in advance.
- There are scratches from weather checking and performance use, and buckle scratches on the back of the body, but there are no cracks, and it is important that the instrument has been carefully preserved.
- A strap pin has been added to the back of the neck.
- The frets have been leveled.
- The hard case has a protruding tie that secures the lid when opened and closed, so please note that it opens 180 degrees.
[Performance Condition]
- String height at the 12th fret: 2.3mm on the 6th string side, 2.0mm on the 1st string side
- Saddle protrusion: approx. 2.5mm to 3.5mm
- The electronics function properly.
- There is no string buzz or rattling, and the playing condition is good.
