top.
It is in beautiful condition with no cracks.
- New nut and frets have been installed. -

- Plays well with no buzzing or muting; in good playing condition.
- String action at the 12th fret: 2.5mm on the 6th string side, 2.0mm
on the 1st string side. - String action can be adjusted up or down using the adjustable saddle.

vintage instruments, fearing it will “compromise the instrument’s originality” or “reduce its value.”
However, when seriously considering the instrument’s practicality and longevity, proper repairs are actually the best choice for preserving its value.

For the refretting performed on this B-25, we first straightened the neck itself using a “neck iron” before proceeding with the fingerboard correction, in order to minimize the amount of material removed from the valuable fingerboard. This ensures that sufficient thickness remains for future refretting, if needed. Additionally

, the newly crafted nut was designed to ensure a smooth transition from open strings to the sound produced at each refretted position.As a result, the instrument is free of the awkwardness often found in vintage guitars during play, delivering a cohesive, unified response across the entire instrument.

Furthermore, the area around the bridge plate has been properly repaired.
When the holes in the bridge plate widen and the ball ends dig in excessively, the looped portion of the string—which should not rest on the saddle—ends up sitting on it. Since this is not the correct way for the strings to sit, we corrected this issue on this particular instrument, ensuring the strings sit properly in their intended positions.

Given that this instrument is approximately 60 years old, repairs will inevitably be necessary as you continue to play it. That is precisely why we have taken great care to avoid irreversible procedures—such as shaving wood—as much as possible. We have restored this instrument to a condition where, despite its vintage status, it can be enjoyed for many years to come and is fully prepared to withstand any future repairs.
