Gibson / 1966 LG-0
—A mature, rugged look and a weathered blues sound

Produced from 1958 to 1974, the LG-0 was the entry-level model of its era.
This particular instrument features weather checking and moderate playwear, giving it a distinctive character that speaks to its history spanning more than half a century.

The LG-0’s most distinctive features are its mahogany top, sides, and back, Recruit with ladder bracing.
—
A Sound Unique to This Instrument The combination of the mahogany body and ladder bracing, paired with a plastic bridge featuring a slot saddle—a design not found on modern guitars—delivers a rich, earthy sound with just the right amount of airiness. It’s perfect
for country, blues, and strumming with open chords.
—
Neck Grip: The mahogany neck Recruit a 40mm narrow neck profile. It’s easy to grip even for players with smaller hands, making chord strumming and the “shake-hand” style of blues playing exceptionally smooth.
This charming small-body guitar offers a warmth and vintage-inspired look distinct from the LG-1, Recruit the same ladder bracing. It’s also highly
recommended as a first vintage guitar.
