This 2012 Gibson 1960s J-180 features a striking double pickguard.
Its design is reminiscent of the Gibson Everly Brothers, the predecessor model created as an artist model for the Everly Brothers (a country duo active in the 1950s and 60s).
Production of the Everly Brothers model ceased in 1972, but it was revived in the late 1980s as the J-180 and went on to enjoy great popularity.
The J-180 is a 16-inch model, slightly smaller than the J-200.
It’s a model with a very striking, distinctive double pickguard.
In terms of sound, it features a solid, rich bass, well-balanced mids, and impressive definition and clarity.
The neck is wide but slightly thinner, offering a clean grip and making it easy to play.
This model is recommended for those seeking a powerful, thumping strumming sound.
Equipped with a FISHMAN Rare Earth Mic Blend, this guitar can also be used as an electro-acoustic instrument.

Please be aware of this in advance.
- The pickguard is slightly lifted. It is attached with double-sided tape, so areas where the adhesive has weakened will inevitably lift. Since this does not affect playability, we have left it as is.
- There are signs of wear, such as fine play marks and scuffs, on the pickguard, the lower part of the body, and the front and back of the headstock.
- An additional strap pin has been added to the neck heel.
- Pickups installed.
[Playing Condition]
- String height at the 12th fret: 2.7 mm on the 6th string side, 2.2 mm on the 1st string side.
- The adjustable bridge allows you to adjust the string height to your preference.
-There is no muffled sound or buzzing; the instrument is in excellent playing condition.
