Epiphone / 2021 FT120 Masterbilt Excellente
—The Joy of Playing a Legendary, Top-of-the-Line Instrument
Have you ever found yourself wishing for “an acoustic guitar with an overwhelming presence that no one else has,” only to end up settling for a run-of-the-mill, standard model?
Even if you long for a high-end model with historic and luxurious ornamentation, the price of an original vintage instrument is often unrealistic—or they may not even exist on the market. Settling for a safe design and sound because you haven’t found “that one special guitar just for you”—one that combines
visual impact with the authentic tone of an all-solid-wood body—is a tremendous waste that stifles your individuality.
This model shatters that compromise by fully reviving—using modern technology—the most luxurious and rare top-of-the-line model in Epiphone Acoustic’s history.

The original FT-120 Excellente, introduced in 1963, is a legendary, rare model of which only 141 were produced during its run until 1970.
In 2021, Epiphone masterfully revived the DNA of this “legendary instrument”—beloved by the “Queen of Country,” Loretta Lynn, and others—as part of its prestigious Masterbilt series.
—Authentic tone produced by an all-solid body

Featuring a Sitka spruce top and Obanコール back and sides, you’ll enjoy the deep, rich, and resonant tone—with excellent response—unique to an
all-solid construction from the very day you purchase it.
—Stunning Artistic Aesthetics

The Historic Eagle pickguard adorning the body, the beautiful mother-of-pearl cloud inlays gracing the ebony fingerboard, and the waffle-back tuning pegs—all faithfully recreate the dignity and elegance of the original as a top-of-the-line instrument.
—Practicality Tailored to Today’s Performance Environment

A Fishman Sonitone pickup is mounted on the soundhole edge. Without compromising the beautiful
vintage look in the slightest, it instantly delivers superb line sound for live performances and recording.
Turn a Dream Instrument into Your Go-To Tool
This is your perfect opportunity to play—without hesitation—a legendary, top-of-the-line instrument that would cost an astronomical sum as an original, now in practical condition and equipped with modern functionality. The Masterbilt series, crafted from
high-quality woods, is highly regarded by serious players who refuse to compromise on either appearance or sound.
