The moment I first held this guitar, I couldn't help but gasp.
The gleaming block inlays on the fingerboard, the delicate patterns of the rosette and the inlay encircling the body, and the magnificent shimmer of the tiger-grain figure emerging on the sides and back.
The YAMAHA Dynamic Guitar No.80 is the most luxurious model of the Dynamic Guitar series, the origin of Japanese-made acoustic guitars, born in the early 1960s: the dawn of Japan's acoustic guitar era.
And from this classical guitar-like form, the shape and thickness of the body were altered to achieve greater volume, leading to the completion of the acoustic guitar.
The top is crafted from spruce, while the sides and back feature maple with magnificent tiger-eye figure.
This wood combination produces a sound that combines tension and brightness with a profound transparency, evoking the distinct clarity of resonating bells.
When chords are struck, each string emerges with three-dimensional presence; when arpeggios are plucked, each note melts into the space, diffusing like a gentle ripple.
