"ROCKMAN" original distortion sound with a unique midrange color!
The "ROCKMAN" series is the product of Tom Scholz, guitarist for the supergroup "BOSTON," which shook the music scene in the early 1980s with its astounding sound, and his genius for sound effects. These professional-grade pedals are the result of experience and ideas cultivated through live performances on world tours and studio recordings. Their highly patented circuitry delivers a unique sound. With only the essential controls, they're easy to use, even for those unfamiliar with complex equipment. Recommended for beginners. Set the distortion character with the DISTORTION HARMONIX and define the tone with the 3-band EQ. The treble boost before the output allows for final adjustments tailored to the situation. The lead boost adds even more gain. The "ROCKMAN" is originally constructed with a weak plastic housing, which inevitably cracks and breaks in the screw-fastening areas. This unit has a chip in the housing (which prevents screws from fastening) and two cracks. When Boston came to Japan in 2014, the piles of ROCKMANs set up were quite impressive! Be sure to experience the authentic sound.
