The sides and back feature quilted maple with a beautiful, fine scale-like pattern.
The quilted maple is finished with a beautiful gradient color that evokes the transition from the vivid surface of the water to the deep sea.
The beautiful grain evokes the gentle ripples of a water’s surface.
—Top made from premium wood
European spruce is a premium wood sourced from the Alpine mountains of Central Europe.
It has a whitish hue and a wider grain than Sitka spruce, making it one of the finest woods alongside Adirondack spruce.
Additionally, the binding features quilted maple, creating a luxurious finish.
—OMEGA Fingerboard
A defining feature of the Merida is the OMEGA, which is highly resistant to humidity and environmental changes.
It is made by pressing wood and resin at high density, giving it an ebony-like appearance.
The fingerboard features dot position markers.
—Slim Taper Neck
The neck, crafted from flamed maple, features a slim profile, ensuring comfortable playability even with modern playing styles.
It allows for comfortable chord work even during strumming.
The neck is finished with the same beautiful gradient color as the sides and back.
– OMEGA Bridge
The OMEGA bridge, crafted from the same material as the fingerboard, features a satin finish for a smooth, silky feel under the fingers.

The gloss-finished headstock is adorned with the Merida logo and shell-inspired lines.
- Tuning Machines
The gold Rotomatic tuner pegs feature buttons made from OMEGA material.
