Explanation
"I like Strats, but they all look the same and I can't find the right one." Does that sound familiar?
Many of us share this frustration: the more we search for the perfect Strat, the more we find only vintage-style or standard-spec models lining the shelves, never encountering that one instrument that truly becomes our weapon. We crave more than just the mainstream—we want a reliable weapon for the real fight. This Art Esparza Stratocaster answers that call.
Art Esparza joined Fender in 1987 and, until his departure in 2004 due to health reasons, crafted numerous memorable custom instruments as a master builder. He's renowned for creating truly unique styles that stand apart from standard vintage reproductions, like Buddy Guy's iconic polka dot Strat and Ernie Azalea's ZEAL. That distinct personality and aesthetic are deeply embedded in this Strat as well.
This particular instrument is a special one, built to order for Yamano Gakki, the distributor at the time. It features Noiseless pickups, a two-point tremolo, a Wilkinson roller nut, and Sperzel locking tuners, finished with practical specifications inspired by Jeff Beck's setup. It's a Stratocaster that allows you to express yourself freely, from delicate nuances to aggressive arm work, without being troubled by noise.
Furthermore, the neck features maple wood with a dense bird's-eye pattern, a hallmark of a master builder. The solid feel you get the moment you grip it and its visual presence tell the story of this guitar being a "special one."
If you find standard models lacking but crave a Strat you can truly rely on in any gig situation, this guitar is your answer. It offers unparalleled individuality and dependability that delivers on every stage. The Jeff Beck-inspired MBS Strat crafted by Art Esparza is poised to elevate your playing to the next level.
