This is a memorable model introduced in 1978 as the first BOSS compressor!

The "NOMAL" and "TREBLE" modes can be selected by switching the MODE switch. It can be used for all kinds of purposes, such as making a chirpy sound when cutting or adding a bit of crispness to the sound. It has a very thick core sound, and I think it is a masterpiece of Japanese compressors, no less than the ROSS and DynaComp.
